Functional” training has gained tremendous momentum and continues to be a key focus for the Tactical Strength and Conditioning industry and is a becoming a mainstream component to fitness regimens in the Military, Law Enforcement and Fire Services.
All Law Enforcement Personnel are required to be functional in their occupation with the expectation to perform at their best under all conditions, especially during high stress situations in treacherous environments. In the real world of Law Enforcement, you often find yourself going from stationary positions to very explosive behaviors (sitting in a car one second, to a foot pursuit and wrestling match with a suspect the next). Training in this capacity is a key component to successful outcomes.
Brute Force Training specializes in training and preparing tactical athletes for these successful outcomes through High Intensity Tactical Fitness Training using our specialized Unstable Load and Odd Object tools. Our goal is to replicate real world stress through physical exertion preparing your body and mind for the real thing. Our outcome is to dramatically improve performance, functionality and overall health by incorporating unstable/uneven load and High Intensity Tactical Fitness Training to their fitness programming at the team level all the way down to the academy.
PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN:
The Brute Force High Intensity Tactical Fitness Training and Unstable Load and Odd Object (ULOO™) approach, using a variety of Odd Objects, to teach foundational movements and progressions and then apply this training in various tactical fitness environments.
These workshops will include Brute Force Sandbags of varying weights and grips, Brute Balls (Sand Atlas Stones), Weighted Training Vests and the Brute Force Kettlebell Sandbags.
UPON COMPLETION YOU WILL BE ABLE TO:
Apply foundational movement methodologies and progressions developed by Brute Force with a variety of Unstable Load / Odd Objects
Modify intensities for a variety of modalities and populations within your team, department or academy
Implement and lead Brute Force High Intensity Tactical Fitness & ULOO™ Training as a stand alone training application or as a supplement to already existing training programs within your team, department or academy
CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS (CEC'S):
The Brute Force ULOO™ Training Courses are currently in review with NASM, NSCA, ACE and AFAA and pending approval. In many cases you can seek POST approval as well.
