Patrol - SWAT Handgun and Rifle Thursday - Friday
This two-day Rifle/Pistol course will redefine the firearms rules and give tactical officers a new way to looking at a flat range. Day 1, is focusing on “Task v. Priorities” and “Spatial Awareness” outside what is normally done on the flat range. Day 2, we are going to “push forward” and take the normal range shooter and put them into the realities and complications of working in and around tactical teams. This course will have some physical events and all shooters will be shooting from various positions. Ensure you are wearing appropriate clothing for moving and being on the ground.
This course will require each shooter to have;
· 1000 rounds rifle and 500 rounds handgun
· At least 3 magazines for each weapon
· Tactical belt, plate carrier and helmet for movements
· Bring all other necessary range gear you will need (ears/eyes/cleaning stuff….)
